Our Investment Mission

Our mission is to bridge capital with opportunity in the domestic energy sector. By prioritizing ready-to-drill assets in proven basins with robust infrastructure, AKG Energy Partners ensures efficient resource development and sustainable value creation for our partners and stakeholders.

Investment Thesis

Despite strong oil and gas demand, many oil and gas producers face increasingly tighter Capex allocations as Wall Street demands oil companies announce detailed capital budgets, live within these budgets and pay regular dividends.

ESG pressures have caused banks to exit lending or dramatically scale back support of oil companies, while large PE funds subjected to the same pressures have also exited or reduced investment in the space.

The result is that high-quality minority interests are available to select investors with a network that “gets the call” when minority interests are made available.
